KFD Good Times Skate Jam going down at Durbanville Skate Park from 1pm-5pm on Saturday 20th March. Free food, skating, KFD team riders JP du Preez, Mitchell Rice, Moses Adams and Justus Kotzé, new KFD and Killer products, skate jams and some good goddamn times!

I recently went on a trip to Botswana with Will Twala, Brad Illingworth and Matt Dowdle to do some demos for XASA and Orange mobile network
To me the trip was more about taking skateboarding to new places and to introduce skateboarding to those who hasn’t really seen it, which turned out really well I think .Allot of skateboards and about 3 BMX bikes were given away to some of the kids. (more…)
A few of the team were invited on the High 5’s and Heel bruises tour that Revolution hosted. JP Dupreez was on the trip while the Guys were in JHB, and Yan Horowitz was part of the trip while they were in Durban. Both the guys had a good time and apparently the trip will be featured on Boardriders TV some time in the new year. (more…)
It was good weather for rolling around this weekend and that is what we all did.
JP decided to go to Durban on Friday for the Quiksilver bowl riders and flew up Saturday morning and was skating the bowl at 9am already. Yann Hurowitz, who just joined the team last week hooked JP up a place to stay and they schralped the bowl together and ended up getting a 2nd and 3rd place. Dallas won – he kills bowl, one of the best bowl riders I have ever seen. Clint said that he came in there like a man possessed and was untouchable. Gavin Hux and Simon Stiptich sessioned the bar the whole night, the Bar always wins, especially when it is free. Thanks to Dane and the guys at Quik for a good time.

JP Du Preez has been with KFD for a year and a half now and is quickly becoming one of South Africa’s best Skateboarders. After a recent injury we where able to get him off a board long enough it ask some question about the industry, the music and the new KFD video! (more…)
