Sunday 30th March – There were a lot of hammers going down this past weekend at the Rand Show for the opportunity to go to the Shanghai or Dubai X Games.

The day got off to a late start as the invited skaters pitched up in their drips and drabs, still feeling the repercussions of a big party the night before or the aches and pains of the NSA contest they skated on Saturday. Regardless of the state they were in everyone pulled out all they had and tossed their bodies down the double set and Eurogap for just on 2 hours. Rain interrupted the contest half way. Eventfully it cleared and everybody got involved in drying up the ramps and getting the course skateable again.

Rudi Kindler got a sick noseblunt slide down the gap to ledge but the day ended up with all KFD team riders taking the top 3 with JP in 3rd and Braxton in 2nd. Moses dropped a whole sack of hammers down the double set and took 1st place and best trick with a nollie bigspin heels down the double set. This win earns Moses the opportunity to go to the X-Games in Shanghai or Dubai later this year.
