This past weekend Volcom Stone threw their “Wild In The Parks” Skate event at the Wavehouse Skate Park in Gateway, Durban and a gang of KFD skaters went down to take part in the comp….

The comp was a jam format where the skaters had 20 minutes to do the best tricks they could on 3 different obstacles around the park. The younger kids were more than happy to see their heroes going for broke, showcasing some amazing skateboarding and illustrating just how deep our South African skating talent runs.

Opens was won by KFD team rider, Gavin “Moses” Adams, for some amazing tricks he completed on the day.

After the Opens there was a Big Air competition with R1000 prize money, sponsored by Redbull, which was one by KFD rider, Yann Horowitz of Umdloti.
