Kleinmond has a new concrete mini ramp based in the impoverished community up on the mountain side. All day long kids run up and down, with little to no hope of ever actually owning a skateboard.

However, thanks to all the people who donated boards to the Revolution stores, Revolution for donating trucks and wheels and Red Bull for their support… that all changed this past weekend.

Justus Kotzé, Moses Adams and Juan Smit spent Friday setting up boards and then went for a skate with the kids and gave out a bunch of boards to the community.

It goes without saying that the kids were hyped as hell and learnt straight away how to pump up and down the transition.

We’ll be going up every couple of months to give out more boards here and there to kids who weren’t there on the day and are super hyped to see how the skating progresses there over time.

This December the Journey Through South Africa Tour will be going through Cape Town, Durban and Joburg distributing new and used skate stuff to kids who can’t afford their own. The tour features German skateboarders Louis Taubert and Niklas Speer von Cappein as well as local ripper Justus Kotze.

And he has carved out on the thick banger bus tour and was generally represented with the best footage ever. In the next time it could be somewhat quiet at Louis, as he sets out to explore South Africa for six months. But of course he does not disappear without saying goodbye to yet befitting.
